compost Vermi Compost & Gardening

What makes Urban Fresh Vermi Compost different from regular fertilizers? keyboard_arrow_down
Our Vermi Compost is processed using specialized earthworms (Eisenia Fetida) feeding on organic waste and mineral-rich cow dung. This process yields earthworm castings packed with plant-available nutrients, beneficial microbial flora, and natural plant hormones that enrich soil structure naturally—unlike synthetic chemical fertilizers that can deplete soil over time.
How often and in what quantity should I apply Vermi Compost to my plants? keyboard_arrow_down
For established potted indoor or outdoor plants, gently scratch 100–150g (about 1–2 handfuls) into the topsoil every 3–4 weeks, followed by deep watering. For seasonal vegetables or flower beds, mix 200–300g per square foot before sowing. You can also brew vermicompost tea by steeping castings in aerated water for a quick liquid microbial booster!

blender Pure Desi Cow Ghee

What is the traditional Bilona method, and why is it superior? keyboard_arrow_down
Unlike industrial ghee made by heating raw cream using high-speed separators, traditional **Bilona Ghee** is made by boiling pure A2 milk, converting it to curd, hand-churning the curd into butter (makhan) using a wooden churn (bilona), and gently melting the butter over a firewood flame. This ancient Ayurvedic method preserves fat-soluble vitamins, short-chain fatty acids (like butyrate), and creates a distinct grainy texture and nutty aroma.
What is the shelf life of Urban Fresh Desi Ghee? How should I store it? keyboard_arrow_down
Our ghee contains zero preservatives, water molecules, or additives, making it highly shelf-stable. When stored in a cool, dry place inside a glass or clay container, it can easily last 12–18 months at room temperature. Always use a clean, dry spoon to scoop the ghee and avoid refrigeration, as condensation can introduce moisture and lead to spoilage.

spa Sambrani Cup Incense

Are Urban Fresh Sambrani Cups natural and charcoal-free? keyboard_arrow_down
Yes! Our Sambrani Cups are handcrafted by rolling a natural blend of dry herbs, guggul, camphor, and pure Loban (Benzoin resin) inside a base made of recycled flowers and cow dung. They are completely charcoal-free, petroleum-free, and sulfur-free, ensuring you get only the pure, cleansing resins aroma without toxic smoke.
How do I safely burn a Sambrani Cup? keyboard_arrow_down
Hold the Sambrani Cup by its base and tilt it slightly. Light the upper rim using a matchstick or candle until the rim glows and catches fire. Gently blow out any active flame, leaving only the glowing, smoking ember. Place the cup securely on the handcrafted ceramic burner plate provided in your wellness kit, away from flammable items and out of reach of children or pets.
